The Tigers Booster Club held their annual banquet on Friday, May 4th, 2007. A record number attended the banquet this year and the Boosters raised a record amount of money during the year. With approximately 400 present, it was announced the Boosters raised over 44 thousand and spent nearly all of it on equipment for the school athletic programs and feeding the athletes during outings or when they were required not to leave the school grounds. President Stuart Godwin, Vice President, Darren Patterson, Treasurer, Kelly Sharp and Recording Secretary, Sheldon Boyd were this years Officers and present during the presentations.

Kent Elmore was presented Golfer of the Year by Coach Freeman.

Olivia Mckay was presented the trophy for Cross Country of the Year by Coach Frye.

Tyler Steel was presented the trophy for Baseball Player of the Year for his outstanding play by Coach Frye.

Megan Graves was presented the trophy for Cheerleader of Year by Ms. Barnette.

Coach Mackey presents Brittany Baker with Lady Tiger Track of the Year.

Adam Sanderson was presented the Trophy for Tiger Track of the Year by Coach Slott.

Lindsey Balcao was presented the trophy for Softball player of the Year by Coach Freeman.

Danielle Clem was presented the Lady Tiger Basketball Player of the Year award by Coach Reeves.

Kyle Sharp received the Tiger Basketball Player of the Year award, presented by Coach Fisher.

Coach Freeman presented Megan Graves with the Volleyball Player of the Year Award.

Coach Bridget Freeman was presented a Plaque for her outstanding winning season's while coaching the ladies volleyball teams. She will be missed as she fills the needs of being a full time mom for a while. Congratulations Bridget -- you've done a great job.

And Tiger Football Player of the Year was presented to Blake Godwin, by Coach Gill.

The Booster Club also recognized Kelly Sharp and presented her a plaque for her hard work for the past several years as a Booster Club Officer. Presented by Stuart Godwin.

The 2006-2007 Booster Club started a new tradition of awards to be presented to athletes. This year they created "The Rising Star" award to be presented to an outstanding Freshman. Receiving the Lady Tiger Rising Star award was Jessica Otto. Watch this young lady as she will surely excel in Volleyball, Basketball and Track.

The 2006-2007 Booster Club's recipent for Tiger Rising Star award was Evan Smith. Watch this hard hitting and hard working young man as he will surely excel in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track.

In keeping with past tradition, the Booster Club announce the selection of Lady Tiger and Tiger of the Year. This award is based on an athlete performing in at least two sports and maintaining a level of academic standards.
This years recipients were Senior Megan Graves and Senior Kyle Sharp. Megan excels in Volleyball, Cheerleading, Softball and Track. Kyle excels in Football, Basketball and Track.
