Welcome To The Mansfield Police Department

As the chief law enforcement officer for the city of Mansfield it is my duty to protect the lives and property of all citizens, and to enforce all local, state, and federal laws.

I strive to run our department with sound Christian principles and I am fortunate to have police officers that are dedicated, and do their job with compassion, ethics, morals, and without prejudice and bias.

We are unique in the fact that our town is split by two counties, Sebastian and Scott. Due to this fact, our department deals with two different district and circuit courts. We carry two different citation books, and have a radio for Sebastian County and one for Scott County.

When I started this job in the early 90's, we had two used patrol cars that came from the Missouri Highway Patrol, and myself and another officer to cover the town 24-7. We now have four full time officers and four reserve officers. All of our patrol units are now late models that were bought new. My thanks goes to the Mayor and City Council members for understanding that if we were to have a great town where people would feel safe and secure, we needed an excellent police department. I truly believe this has been accomplished.

The door to my office is always open to anyone that needs to talk with me or another officer about a problem, or just to visit.
