CITY LAKE PARK
Dedicated as Mansfield City Lake by longtime resident and former mayor Fred Rogers on August 28, 1935, the reconstructed Coop Creek served area residents as both a water supply and recreational source for years. With the restoration process begun in 2006, and being restocked by the Arkansas Game & Fish commission, the City Lake Park is once again a great location to fish, picnic, or just to relax. Covered picnic tables add to the allure of this historical and scenic spot. (photos by Glen Hurt)
